Currently working as a Reporting and Research Associate for a Business and Human Rights project at an international organisation. Akane is also a member of Business and Human Rights Team at the Amnesty International Japan. Before assuming the current role, Akane worked as a researcher for various research projects on Business and Human Rights. Previously, Akane worked for a Japanese electronics company and led a project to start a responsible sourcing programme of gold materials in partnership with a smartphone brand.
