Amanda Obando was born and raised in El Salvador. She moved to the United States for college, where she earned a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Emory University. She is a writer and a visual artist. Amanda's work covers and plays with the topics of immigration, identity in relation to geography, and intimacy.
