Azan Virji is currently a second-year at Harvard Medical School. He was born in Kisumu, Kenya, and raised in Mwanza, Tanzania. He received his undergraduate B.S in Biology from Yale College along with his Masters in Public Health in the epidemiology of microbial diseases from the Yale School of Public Health. He is deeply committed to voicing the struggles of international students in the US and his work was recently published in the Harvard Crimson.
