Although I'm living in Budapest and my academic background is in South Asia (I spent four years studying Sanskrit), I now spend more of my time reading about the Caucasus and Central Asia. I'm fascinated by watching ideas move from the fringes of society to the mainstream, and then to being unnoticed ‘common sense’.
